Detox Drink

After Christmas and New Years its easy to feel bloated and gross. Of course we'd feel that way if we were consuming a whooping 4000 calories plus alcohol everyday. Makes me guilty just thinking about it! 

         




How do you yo feel better about it? A magical elixir that I turn to anytime I'm feeling like a cold might be coming on or bloated from eating too much. I'm a fan of starting my day with a cup of hot lemon water—believers say alkalizing lemon juice balances your pH levels and help flush toxins (jury's still out)—and this just packs in more stuff.



A mixture of freshly squeezed lemon juice, ground ginger, ground cloves, cayenne, and honey, this super soothing drink will help settle your stomach, warm you up, and make you feel invigorated. Drink it after the big meal as a digest if or start your day with it; it'll wake up your system.
