Flavoured water

No more sodas, juices and bottled water for me. Flavoured water is my new ready-to-go drink and my motivation to guzzle more water. 
   I drink about a bottle of water per day which is apparently not sufficient. Constantly trying to fulfill my daily fluid necessities, never seems to be getting me anywhere with raw water. Water is that which comes across to me as something healthy and a necessity, but the problem I face is that I find it boring or rather bland to sip on throughout the day. 
   I came across an article recently on flavoured water and was up for trying all sorts of methods to spice up and make it a trip to toothsome nutrition land. 
    It is EXTREMELY simple to make and is oh-so-tasty. Although, it is not a drink in which you have strong flavours of the ingredients but just a subtle taste of it.       
    Stacking up glasses, bottles or jars of these savour drinks keeps me excited and motivated to drink water.  

These are some of my favourite combinations : 



• Sweet Tart-pineapple chucks,cherries and thinly sliced apple. 
• Strawberry Basil Blast-basil leaves and strawberries. 
• Apple and Cinnamon-sliced apples and cinnamon sticks. 
• Slightly Spicy-sliced cucumbers and sliced jalapeño peppers. 
• Peach Pie-vanilla beans(crushed) and sliced peaches. 
• Melon Lime-sliced limes and Mellon chunks. 
• Cherries Jubilee-cherries(pitted),sliced lemon and vanilla beans. 
• Mango Mojito-scrunch mint,cubed mango and sliced lime. 
• Strawberry Kiwi Cooler-strawberries,sliced kiwis and lemons. 
• Citrus Sensation-combine sliced lemons,grapefruit and oranges. 

*All the ingredients are to be crushed gently with a wooden spoon or spatula in order to release the flavours.
