Hair Care Routine
A post on my hair care routine is something that has been on hold for quiet some time. And the reason why I haven't posted about it is because I had been experimenting with products for a while which did not let me commit to a good set of products. I think I've finally put my hands down and decided to settle with these set of products as they brought great results for my hair...
From the left 1. Tresemme heat defence 2. Wella sculpt force ( for keeping fly aways in place) 3.Bblunt dry shampoo 4. Moroccan oil 5. Moroccan hydration mask 5. Tresemme silky ( only for occasions ) 6. Sunsilk perfect straight 7. Kerastase Bain divalent ( for oily scalp )
Anyways, getting to the most predominant part of the post the hair care routine; I wash my hair about 2-3 times a week, I try to stick to that number as much as possible! There are times where I tend to cheat when I have to go all freshly washed and blow dyed for an occasion. Having constantly trying different shampoos and conditioners ( including L'oreal, Kerestace and Schwakspof) this one is by far the best for my hair and it is none other than the sunsilk shampoo. I use the perfectly straight lock shampoo and it does not fail to leave my hair soft, skiny and silky.
I don't condition my hair as I feel it weighs it down, instead I use a deep conditioning mask once a week. I use the Moroccan oil moisturizing mask and it is my holy grail hair product! It smells ahhhmaaazing and makes your hair super shiny and smooth. Absolutely worth the price. There are a number of hair masks that are available at the salon that don't go hard on the wallet, but the Moroccan oil products are something that your hair would definitely fall in love with! So save up and stack on those products if you can! They are worth every penny. I also use the Moroccan hair oil every night before I sleep and tie my hair into a loose braid. This has kept my hair oh-so shiny and moisturized. So here is the most awaited part my secret to luscious, gorgeous locks. You must have probably heard about this product from your grandmother, mother and now you're hearing it from me...
It issss ( drum beats ) OIL!! I cannot express my love for oil. It is 100% natural, what could be better for your hair? Absolutely nothing! The oil I use is a mixture of a couple of oils which includes olive oil, coconut oil and few others ( please comment below if you want a post to know exactly what I use in them). That is pretty much it for my hair care routine. I try to use as minimum products and heat as I can...too much chemicals and heat can ruin the texture and health of your hair. Now coming to drying my hair I blow dry it only for occasions or a night out with my friends, drying my roots and letting the ends air dry will do it for college. You would spot me in braids if you were to attend my college as I feel they are easy to do and have a variety of benefits.
Try staying away from products as much as possible, they tend to leave residue on your hair that accumulate making your hair look dull and oily. I do a vinegar rise once a week to remove any sort of product residue left on the hair. Make sure you always use a heat protectant before styling your hair.
Love your hair and it will love you back :)

My hair is definitely one of my most prized possession. I would probably skip a day of college if I had a bad hair day, that happened only until I found a way to sort out hair issues with a good sleek bun and I honestly felt like all my problems were solved with that look the bun brought on to me.
A bad had day is inevitable! You would be surprised that even Kate Middleton could suffer from a bad hair day.
We could wear THE MOST extravagant and stunning outfit and if our hair is not perfect it could ruin our day, outfit, mood and as if that wasn't enough our hair would look awful in pictures!!!! That would haunt me for an entire week...I might be over exaggerating justa tiny bit but it sure wont make me a chirpy girl.

Products that have natural ingredients are always good for the hair. Don't wash your hair too often, brush it or use too many hair products and I can assure you that you'll love your hair.
Also, I almost forgot, try to stick to a good hair cut that works for your hair texture. The best is to stick to an even simple hair cut that wont require too many products or heat to style. During my teenage I was obsessed with layered hair cuts and bangs that had a number of layers in them. Styling that kind of a haircut required a number of products and straightening which ruined my hair. Ever since I've gone simple with my haircut I've realized that I dint need that many products to style it to make it acceptable for my everyday chores.

I love a straight, sleek and shiny hair look sometimes and this is what I use to get the look.
