Review: MAC Studio Fix

Hello, lovelies!
So I'm back with a review.
I'm reviewing the Mac Pro longwear this time and I have to say this is by far my favourite foundation!

Price: 2150 - 2700 for a 30ml, not very sure about the price.

I'm absolutely in love with the Mac Pro longwear foundation! It does not look cakey, great for combinational skin, lasts a really long time and is available in a number of shades. It covers dark spots and acne seamlessly, basically does the job of a concealer.
Many of you must be wondering if it's really worth the price? And I have to say it is 100%!
I have combinational oily skin and I have tried a number of foundations from Mac. The matchmaster made my skin look really dry, cakey and is very light coverage whereas, the mineralise foundation was way too oily for my skin. For those who have dry skin the mineralise rage will do wonders to your skin. But for the ones with combination skin the Mac Prolong Wear would be perfect with medium to full coverage. It is a little drying though, so I suggest you go in with a good moisturizer before applying the foundation.
It is great for oily skin too!

Pros:

  • Does not cause breakout
  • Great for combination to oily skin
  • Natural finish
  • Photographs well
  • Does not look cakey
  • Medium to full coverage
  • Long wear ( last about 9-12 hours )
  • 16 foundation shades to choose from
  • Travel friendly package

Cons:

  • Hard to find the exact skin tone
  • Dries the skin
  • Does not come with a pump

Rating: 4/5

I've heard a lot of good things about the Dior Nude and Star foundation and I'm guessing it's going to be one of my favourites, it gives a very dewy and natural finish. Cant wait to get my hands on the Star! If you have tried it please do let me know how it is :)

  2. Nice. But this one is not prolong wear.. It's the studio fix fluid.
