Holy Grail Products For Dry Skin

I absolutely HATE the summers in Bangalore and what could be worse than the hot temperatures?A DRY and hot weather!
The weather is unbearable and extremely uncomfortable. Don't you just hate it? I know I do, especially with my skin getting dry, tight and flaky.

With conditions as bad as this, it was mandatory for me to do a post on beating parched skin and taking over the dry summer weather.

To keep the post to point, I am just going to breakdown the products you require during this weather as you don't want your skin to dry up any further.

Here are the products:
1. L'Oreal Hydrafresh
2. Emolene Dry Skin Cream
3. Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel
These three products are my jewels in the crown when it come to my skin care. They are light, hydrating and refreshing. Incredible good for dry weather. Most of the moisturizers in the market do make the skin oily after few hours of application, which is not the case for these three moisturizers. They do not cause breakouts, keeps the skin hydrated, supple, blends well and are non-greasy. I do love the three of them, but Emolene is by far my go-to product. This product is beyond prodigious! I have not been able to stop raving about this product. It is, water based and does not make the skin greasy or oily, suitable for all skin types, does no cause breakouts and makes the skin smooth and supple. It is priced at a reasonable rate and is available easily at medical stores. A must have product is Emolene.

4.Vaseline Petroleum Jelly
Petroleum Jelly for skin? Yes! It is something that everyone owns and does miracles for dry skin. Three days of using petroleum jelly can make you get rid of the flaky dry skin. It also makes the skin shiny and glossy. Jennifer Lopez, Tyra Banks other A-list stars are die hard fans of it. I apply this every morning before heading to college and it keeps my skin moisturized thought the day, it is a lot better than the moisturizes creams that are hoarded in the market.

5. Jergens
My go-to body lotion is the Jergens ultra healing cream. It keeps the skin moisturized and prevents skin from flaking and is fragrance free, which I love. This product works a lot superior to Vaseline,
Dove and other lotions.

6. Maybelline Baby Lips
Great for chapped dry lips. Moisturizing with a glossy finish. You can try Nivea lip care if you are looking for a great lip balm with a tint of color.

7. DIY sugar olive oil scrub
This scrub does wonders to dry skin by removing the dead, flaky skin. All you need to do is mix sugar, olive oil and honey in a bowl.Mix it well and rub it on your skin gently. Wash off with soap and water. Incredibly good for dry skin. I use this scrub twice in a week and it makes the
skin moisturized and supple.

8. DIY Oil Moisturizer
It is a simple mixture of olive oil and almond oil that I apply ever night before sleeping. This mixture hydrates the skin and makes it shiny and lightens skin too. Use this every night and you'll have fabulous skin within a week.

9. Water
Water, water, water....I cannot emphasis on how important water is for skin and cooling of the body. drinking bottles of water can do wonderful things to your skin, helps you loose heat from the body and also hydrates the skin. So, gulp down that bottle of water for glorious skin.

Hope you guys have a cool and hydrated summer :)
