Olive

Fall. The cold gentle breeze, knit wears, cardigans, warm fuzzy blankets and piping hot delcious chocolate. Oh, how I love the winter season.

With the awful hot temperatures rising in Bangalore, I doubted that we'd have the opportunity to experience winter this year. You'd probably be able to relate to what I'm saying if you encountered the Bangalore heat this year, which is extremely depressing since I wait for winter all year long just to wear fall colours and outfits. Also I love the Christmassy feeling.

Any how, winter has partially arrived, which means fall/winter collection shopping. Yay!! I'm a die hard fan of jackets, coats and any kind of outerwear. It's find it satisfying just to get a glimpse of a lovely jackets. Quilted, knitted, faux fur, suede, leather...don't you just love them all? 

One of the colors that I'm loving this fall is olive. It is ethereal, earthy and sober which hits the mark for me. Plus, it is a very flattering color for all skin tones and with a nude coloured lip and soft smokey eyes you're ready to demand attention.
I've paired up an olive bodycon dress from the basics Forever 21 collection with an over sized black Zara blazer. I love this dress as it can be dressed down or dolled up for a night look. Opting for basics is always a good idea as it is extremely versatile.
