Benefits of Chlorophyll
You probably haven’t heard the word “chlorophyll” since sixth grade science class, but chlorophyll is the pigment that makes plants green and help them convert sunlight into energy through photosynthesis.
Since chlorophyll is similar to hemaglobin (the red blood cells that get oxygen to your blood) it can perform a lot of the same functions. What does all that mean? It means your body loves chlorophyll because it knows what to do with it.
I first tried this as part of a Pressed Juicery cleanse. So after I decided I liked it and read about the benefits, I ordered my very own bottle to keep at home.
BENEFITS
- Chlorophyll is a super food. It’s packed with magnesium, iron, calcium, potassium, vitamin A, vitamin K, vitamin E, vitamin C, antioxidants, and beta carotene. It cleanses our blood, helps it carry oxygen, and fights anemia.
- Also great for digestion. Think of it as drinking a huge green, leafy salad.
- Think of this water as a healthy detox. It helps your body flush out toxins and promotes healthy blood flow. It also helps to detoxify and revive the liver. It is also effective in reducing the harmful effects of radiations and helps eliminate pesticides and drug deposits from the body.
- Pimples are little sacks of oil, dead skin, and bacteria. Chlorophyll can help stop breakouts or make them clear up faster because it functions as a wound healer and germ killer which means it can fight blemishes from the inside out.
- Helps protect your skin from the sun by absorbing sunlight and protecting from harmful UV rays. That doesn’t mean you can skip sunscreen, but it makes an amazing ingredient in moisturizers.
You can find chlorophyll drops at a health food store or in a number of online stores such as Amazon and ebay. Amazon.in: Chlorophyll
